We are committed to ensuring a safe, comfortable, and smooth recovery. Following post-treatment guidelines helps reduce discomfort, prevent complications, and ensures the best outcomes.
General Care After Any Procedure
- Rest & Recovery – Most endoscopic procedures involve sedation. Plan to rest at home for the remainder of the day.
- Do Not Drive or Operate Machinery – Sedation can impair reflexes and judgment for 12–24 hours.
- Hydration – Drink plenty of water unless your doctor has advised fluid restrictions.
- Food Intake – Start with light, soft meals and return gradually to your normal diet as tolerated.
- Medications – Take prescribed medicines exactly as instructed. Resume regular medicines only after confirming with your doctor.
- Observation – Mild throat soreness, bloating, or drowsiness after sedation is common and usually resolves within 24 hours.
